An overview about the chemical element Selenium
With an atomic number of 34, atomic mass of 78.96 and represented by a chemical symbol Se, Selenium is a chemical element that is considered chemically related to sulfur and tellurium. It is a mineral that is essential to good health but required only small amount for it can be toxic if taken in large quantity. In the periodic table of elements, Selenium belongs to the Chalcogen or group 16. It is classified as non-metallic that stays solid at 2980K.
