Strontium is an alkaline earth metal using a chemical symbol Sr, with atomic number of 38, atomic weight of 87.62 and atomic volume of 33.7 cc/mole. It can be described as a soft silver-white but it turns yellow when exposed to air making it a yellowish metallic element that is highly reactive chemically.
